In settings of displacement, the lack of access to hygiene materials not only increases health risks but also undermines personal safety and dignity, particularly for women and girls. The International Organization for Migration (IOM), through its Rapid Response and Localization Fund (RRF), supported local organization ASMOG to address these gaps by distributing hygiene kits to 497 families. By placing local organizations at the center of the response, the RRF helps build a more sustainable and inclusive humanitarian system—one that is rooted in local knowledge and driven by the communities it serves.
