In Naminaue, where 2,227 households from host and displaced communities reside, access to clean water is a critical challenge due to limited infrastructure and high salinity.
To address this, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) rehabilitated three boreholes in the villages of Naminaue, Nangua, and 25 de Junho, restoring access to safe water. IOM also trained a local water committee to maintain the boreholes.
By working with communities, IOM supports efforts to improve sustainable water access and strengthen living conditions in Cabo Delgado.
