The humanitarian crisis in the Democratic Republic of the Congo is fuelled by multiple armed conflicts that have displaced more than 4.8 million people across the country. Nearly 13 million people are in in need of humanitarian assistance. The population also suffers from the world’s second largest food crisis, after Yemen, with 13 million people classified as food insecure.
